calculating utility demands for the sterilization of surgical instruments. |

Summary of Process Surgical Instruments are
delivered from health care trusts to a central sterilization facility where
they are washed and sterilized. Clean sterile instruments are then returned
to their respective hospitals. Specific Responsibilities ·
Production of a spreadsheet calculation to enable the costs of utilities to
be determined for different models of washers and sterilizers. ·
Liaison with equipment vendors for performance details. Achievements A spreadsheet that could be used
for determining utility demands that would enable the optimization of
sterilization facility capital and operating costs. |
